Apparel

Item level tagging on apparel is growing and MPI is at the forefront.

Retailers are using RFID tags at the item level. They are being used for asset tracking and inventory management. The tags can be read by a hand held RFID reader / scanner.

Asset Tracking

With RFID tracking you can monitor assets on demand. It lets you know where your items are without delay and helps you make informed decisions.

RFID tracking is automatic and a direct line of site is not required as when reading barcodes.

RFID Badges

RFID badges are widely used for identification purposes. They can be used to speed up a registration process by reducing wait time and long lines since they are read instantly.

With this capability, the attendee can be greeted by their name on a screen upon entering a meeting. This happens as they pass by the RFID reader.

Rotary Screen Labels

Rotary Screen Printing is an ideal process when higher volumes of ink coverage and color strength are required to achieve brilliant, high-grade graphic effects.

QR Barcodes

QR is short for Quick Response. It is a two-dimensional barcode where you can put a lot of information in a small space. To be able to scan it, you need a QR scanning application on a mobile phone. The tag allows large amounts of information and gives the opportunity to showcase your business.

Pressure Sensitive Labeling

Pressure sensitive labels are one of the most popular and widely used labels today. They can work with single label applications or for front and back labels. The PS labels can be printed up to 10 colors and 20″ wide.

A pressure sensitive label consists of a face stock material (paper or film), a pressure sensitive adhesive, and a release liner. The backing can be peeled off and the labels are applied permanently to another surface.

Hinged Labels For Limited Space

Hinged labels work great where there is a lack of space on a container. A hinged label is also an option for uniquely shaped containers.

There are times where the label is required to be on the front of a container and not wrap around the sides. It would possibly cause additional application problems and reduce shelf appeal.

Food Traceability

MPI Label Systems is a certified partner with HarvestMark® and produces the HarvestMark® coding system.

A code comprised of an ECC200 Data Matrix code with variable data, human readable data, and the HarvestMark® logo is used on fresh goods and vegetables giving valuable information on product location and that the product is safe and fresh.
