IT Technician / Help Desk

Location: Sebring, OH

Job Description:  Provide technical support for all MPI locations across the country. Support requests will range from general PC troubleshooting, printers, networking, servers, and mobile devices. As well as a wide range of software packages including EFI Radius, MS Office, Adobe CC and G Suite. Must be extremely responsive and provide necessary solutions as quickly as possible to ensure operations are not hindered by technical difficulties. Must have the ability to quickly assess situations and resolve issues in a timely manner. If needed, seek help from additional resources and provide communication to employees. Candidate must be willing to learn a great deal and have exceptional troubleshooting skills. Must be able to keep up with a constantly evolving & changing environment.

A qualified candidate will provide support for:

  • Radius/Scheduling/Open Accounts MIS/ERP/Accounting Software
  • Microsoft Windows 7/10 and Mac OS mixed environment
  • Windows Server 2008-2016 Support and management
  • Windows Domain Administration (Print Services, File Sharing, Active Directory, GPO, etc.)
  • VMWare support/maintenance/upgrades
  • Server/Network/vCloud support
  • Wireless Network Infrastructure (Managing Bridges/APs)
  • Productivity software support (Microsoft Office/Google Docs)
  • Excel/Word – Advanced functions, formulas & working with external data
  • New equipment installation
  • Printers
  • Mobile platforms including iOS and Android
  • Networking Equipment
  • …and more


  • Preferred experience and general knowledge providing IT help desk support
  • General understanding of network infrastructure and device configuration including access points, switches, and firewalls
  • General understanding of virtual environments and working with server clusters
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to see all support requests and projects through to completion
  • Good writing and documentation skills

Experience: Information Technology: 1 year (Preferred)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (on rare occasions may be required to work on off days)
